Panoramic View of San Francisco Skyline During Super Bowl 50 Week

This image consists of 6 frames from my Nikon D800 stitched together to give you this very high resolution and high quality panoramic view of San Francisco skyline! It was taken during the Super Bowl 50 Week when special lighting decors made only for this occasion can been seen on many buildings, including the color on Transamerica pyramid bringing you this unique view of the city we all love so much!

While it is not obvious in this web-sized image, the clarity and details from the original file viewed at 100% were so rich and sharp! I am very tempted to print this at 10-foot long in size to hang in the living room myself! LOL!

Liquid Floral

That Bluish Water of Brúarfoss. Iceland.

On our Iceland trip, we saw countless waterfalls, but Brúarfoss was the one that I did not want to miss! Since it is not officially designated as a "Tourist Destination", this place does not get the usual crowd that you may see in other popular places around the Ring Road. On both occasions that we came here, we had the luxury to have the place all to ourselves! Good times!

One small drawback though is this place is not as easy to find. We had to pass through a barb wire fence and hike a wet and muddy "trail" to get here. But the reward of seeing this blue waterfall was more than worth it! Hope you enjoy this view as much as I do!

Autumn at Maroon Bells

Alpenglow on Maroon Peaks with Fall Colors Surrounding the Lake. Colorado.

Maroon Bells are said to be the most photographed mountain peaks in the entire North America, and it is not hard to see why! With the peaks draped with a fresh coat of snow contrasting the warmth fall colored aspens surrounding the lake and image of the peaks mirrored on the water, this scene is easily an instant postcard to anyone standing here! Naturally, it is also one of the most visited spots in Colorado! So...Needless to say, I made sure to pay this place a visit on my first ever trip to this state, and I am glad I did!

Well, you have probably seen thousands of pictures of this place by now, but I am still going to show you one more today...because it is just too GORGEOUS! ...Won't you agree?

Moonlight Symphony ( 月光交響曲 )

Strawberry Moonrise over Golden Gate Bridge on 6/10/2017. San Francisco, CA.

The moon aligned with the North tower the night before. But it got even closer on this night, offering us this very rare view of a full moon sitting just above the tower without overlapping, as seen from the only spot where Transamerica building also aligns!

While the moon goes above the Golden Gate Bridge occasionally at various heights, there are only a few times in a decade to see a full moon get this close! I have waited 4 years for this unique view and I am glad that I was there to see it this time!

It will be 2021 for the moon to get to this position again!!!

Berry Veil

Portion of Berry Creek Falls. Big Basin, CA.

It requires quite a bit of work to see this fall as this waterfall is situated in the middle of a 10.5-mile loop trail. While the fall is beautiful and all, I wonder if I would ever exert that much effort again to see a waterfall! :-) Hope you enjoy this view as much as I did!
